Happy Mail and Floral Phrases !!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Today I received some Happy Mail from Stampin' Up !  On May 3rd, I celebrated my 10 Year Anniversary with Stampin' Up!!  It's hard to believe that it has been 10 Years.  Time has flown by so quickly, especially when you LOVE what you Do!!  And I have made so many friendships in those 10 years.  It warms my Heart!!  Thank You Stampin' Up for changing my life in such a positive way!!

Here's the letter that I received from Shelli and Sara, along with my 10 Year Pin.

Now on to the Floral Phrases card for today.

Last night was the first evening session of our Stamp A Stack for June!  There are 4 Card Designs and everyone make 3 of each Card Design for a total of 12 cards.  The cards are created by Susan Campfield and Brenda Cardinal.  I will be sharing the other cards, but today I will share the Floral Phrases card that we made.

Here's the front of the card:

The Floral Boutique Suite is one of my Favorite Suites in the New Catalog!!
I Love how Elegant the Night of Navy and Whisper White makes this card just pop.  I absolutely LOVE the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper it is so Beautiful!  One of the Concept Artists at Stampin' Up actually creates all the patterns in this Designer Series Paper by hand painting them first which makes this DSP so Totally Amazing !!

Here is the inside of the card:

I love that there is a Border stamp in the Floral Phrases set.
It's really nice to use on the inside of the card as an accent.

Details:

Stamp set:  Floral Phrases

Cardstock:
                        Whisper White  5 1/2" x 8 1/2"      Scored at 4 1/4"
                  (2)  Whisper White    4" x 5 1/4"
                         Whisper White   1 3/4" x 3 1/4"
                         Night of Navy    2" x 3 1/2"

Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper   (3) Different Patterns    1" x 4 3/4"

Then using the Triple Banner Punch you can punch all (3) strips of the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper at the same time on the one end.
(Only because it is DSP, can you punch all 3 pieces at the same time, cardstock is too thick to do that)

Pretty simple, but so Elegant!!

Thank you to Susan and Brenda !!

So glad that you stopped by today!  I wish you an Awesome Weekend !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Love all the New Layering Framelits!!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the inside, it had the border stamp from this set along the edge of the card.  It makes such a beautiful accent.  A Simple, but very Elegant card, don't you think?

Convention Friends - 2014

Well I thought I would change it up a bit and share a couple of pics from Convention.  One of my most favorite things is meeting New Friends and seeing my Friends from prior Conventions.  Some of the BEST Friendships ever are my Stampin' Up Friends!!!!  Then I will continue with the gifts that I made for Convention.

So while I was waiting down in the lobby for my downline to arrive, I got to meet some New Friends!!  It was so awesome as they were ALL 1st Time Convention Attendees!!!  After the picture, we of course did some swapping of our Convention Cards!!     So Awesome !!

Hopefully, I will have ALL of their names in the correct placement.  Here goes:
From the right is Marla Kimmel (from Okinawa, Japan), Joy Harriger (from Orlando), missing the next person's name, Kina Dennis (from Chicago), my downline Traci Schissel (from Minneapolis), and I was also missing the last person's name.  I do know that one of my missing names is Ann (from Orlando) but I'm not sure which missing one that is.  I received cards from most of them and I was missing a name on one of their cards.  If you ladies see this post and can help me out with my missing names, I can edit my post to include everyone's name.  Just click on my Email Me Button on the left sidebar.                Thank you !!

Now I met this lovely lady outside of our Hotel.  She had the most unique Nails !!  I had to take a picture as I am a BIG nails fan.  And she even did them herself, so I was very impressed with her work!! I forgot to ask her name, but I did let her know that I would be posting her picture.  So FUN!!

Here are my Convention Swap Cards:

This one uses the New Sweet Sadie Washi Tape, the Cupcake Builder Punch and the
Modern Label Punch and the NEW Cupcake Party stamp set.

This one uses the following stamp sets:  Flower Shop, Petite Petals, Papillon Potpourri and A Dozen Thoughts.  4 Punches:  Elegant Butterfly, Pansy, Petite Petals and the Itty Bitty Accents.

This is one of my Favorite stamp sets - The Work of Art !!!
So many possibilities with this stamp set.

I Thank you for stopping by today!!!

Have a great weekend and do some Stamping !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Next up I have my Swap card that I made for some very Special Friends !!

I CASED this card from the Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.  I so LOVE this stamp set.  I couldn't get my close up picture to rotate, sorry.

Next up is my Bag Tag that I made for this years Convention.

I used the "On Film"  Framelits to make the Bag Tag and then put the Convention Logo inside.  The Striped Marina Mist Grosgrain Ribbon is retired, but as I used Marina Mist cardstock so it was a must use.  Then I used the Baked Brown Sugar Bakers Twine to make my bow at the top.

This next idea I saw on Becky Robert's blog - Inking Idaho a while back.  I still had some calendars to use, so this was the perfect project for me to CREATE !!!   If you want to check out Becky's version just ( click here )

February 2014 Stamp A Stack

Each year I have the opportunity to participate in my upline's Stamp A Stack.  There is one in February, one in June and then October.  We always have a great time stamping.  I finally remembered to take some pictures of some of my customers enjoying the night!

Everyone that comes completes 2 cards of each of the 5 Designs.  The cards are designed by my Upline, Susan Campfield and fellow Demonstrator Brenda Cardinal.  So here's a look at the cards that they made during this session.

Next I have a couple of pictures of some of my customers that attended the February Session:

From left to right:    Traci, Alex and Kami
Yes, "Real Men" do stamp !!  Woo Hoo !!  This is the second Stamp A Stack session for Alex.

Here's Kami and Alex working at one of the stations in the living room.

While Traci is working at another station in the kitchen.

At another station which is downstairs in the Viking room - Kami and Alex are discussing the steps in making their cards.

Now Traci is almost finished with all of her cards.  Smiles around for all.

I'll be sharing some closer views of the actual cards in my next post.

So stop by again to see them.

I do "Thank You" for stopping by today!  Maybe next time you'll be joining us for the FUN !!
