Birthday Gifts for Kim

Where did the week go?  Well it's time to continue with the Birthday Celebration from last week.  On Monday I posted the cute Lollipop Flower Bouquet that was one of my gifts to my friend Kim.   So we'll start there and add her Cupcake with a Button Bracelet inside.

On the left we have the Lollipop Flower Bouquet and I've added the Daffodil Delight Cupcake and the Regal Button Bracelet.

Here's a close up of the Daffodil Delight Cupcake and inside I will be placing the Regal Button Bracelet as a surprise!  The Cupcake is one of my favorites this year for Birthday gifts!  The original idea is from Becky Roberts, you can check my prior post ( Here ) for the link to her tutorial - 12 Days of Christmas 2010 Edition.  I forgot to take a picture of the Individual Cupcake Box, which I also did in Daffodil Delight.
The Button Bracelet was also in my prior post  ( Here ) which was created by Julie Davision and the link to here tutorial is there.

This is the grande finale Birthday gift.  Now you'll notice that on the top is Kim's famous saying.  "It's All About Me".   So, I just had to put that saying on her cute mini Bulletin Board.  This is my take on the original idea for this from UStamp With Dawn and Friends - Oh My Word Edition by Tammy Maxvill.  Although this session has completed, it is still available for purchase at  http://ustampwithdawnandfriends.com/.

The Current session is:
Stop by and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Upcoming posts will be some Sneak Peaks!   So don't forget to stop back and check them out!

I want to Thank All of You for stopping by today!

Lollipop Flower Bouquet

Happy Monday!   I hope that everyone had a great weekend!  I'm still waiting for Spring, as it was cloudy and no sunshine here all weekend long.  Hoping for some Sun this week, but the forecast doesn't sound like it's going to happen though.  Over the weekend there was a Special Birthday Celebration!  My friend Kim's Birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.  I thought I would share one of my gifts for Kim with you today.  It's this adorable Lollipop Flower Bouquet!

This is the front view of the bouquet.

These flowers are so much prettier in person, but this picture will give you a good idea.
I so LOVE how this Flower Bouquet turned out!

I designed my flowers using Stampin' Up Designer Paper and Cardstock.  I used the New Fun Flowers Die from the Occasions Mini, the 1 3/4" Scalloped Circle punch, the 2 3/8" Scalloped Punch, the 5 Petal Flower Punch, and the Fancy Flower Punch, Embossing Folders and the Crimper for some texture.
I found some really cute lollipops for the centers of the flowers along with the Small Flower lollipops in the middle.  Then I found a little flower pot that even had flowers painted on it already all at the Dollar Tree.   I added some Daffodil Delight 5/8" grosgrain ribbon around the top of the pot and then added the 1 1/4" Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon for the bow on the front for an added special touch.  The "Wish Big" Flower uses a Pixie Stix for the stem, with Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon for the bow under the leaves.   I added some green shredded paper to cover up the styrofoam piece that I used to hold the flowers in place.

This is the back view of the bouquet, so that you can see all the beautiful flowers.

This is an overhead view.

I found this idea while browsing Stampin' Connections (our SU Demo website), and had to check it out further.  This idea was one that Connie Stewart had posted.  Here's a link to Connie's post to see her bouquet. ( Here )    Such a wonderful idea for really any occasion that you would want to send flowers for, but these flowers will last FOREVER !!  Thanks Connie for sharing this FUN idea!

Kim really LOVED her Lollipop Flower Bouquet !!  I will share some of her other gifts with you later on this week.   I'm sure that there is someone with an upcoming Birthday that you could make this special Lollipop Flower Bouquet for, right !  If you do, be sure to send a picture to me at:   sdyas0936@msn.com  and I will post it on my blog!

Thanks so much for taking time to stop by today !!
Happy Stamping  !!!

Birthday Cupcake Box and Button Bracelet

Well the package was mailed and is on it's way for the Big 12th Birthday this Sunday.   I had a couple more items to share that were included, but I haven't shared with you yet.  Since it's a Cupcake Birthday, I had to complete everything with the Individual Cupcake Box and Cute Cupcake with a special surprise inside.

The Individual Cupcake Box idea is from Becky Roberts.  Becky has a great FREE tutorial on her blog, so you can check it out ( Here )   I did play a small part in this creation as I sent a Birthday gift to Becky which inspired her to create this cupcake box.   The pattern and directions for the cupcake itself are in Becky's 12 Days of Christmas 2010 edition tutorial which you can find ( Here )  These are so much fun to make and the person who receives it will be THRILLED!  With so MANY colors to choose from you can't go wrong. And there are ZERO calories in this Cupcake!

I'll start with the picture of my last gift:

It's a Pretty In Pink Cupcake Box with a Pretty In Pink Cupcake.
The surprise that will be inside the Cupcake is the cute Button Bracelet.  This Button Bracelet was made using the Brights Collection Designer Buttons.  Isn't it just the cutest thing ever!!

Julie Davidson is the creator of the Button Bracelet.
Click  ( Here ) to order.
I first saw the Bracelet at the Minneapolis Regionals that were here in February.  I was standing in line waiting to register and the demonstrator in front of me actually was wearing one!  She received it as a gift from her Upline.  So I was super excited when I found the tutorial that was on Julie's blog.

Here's the Pretty In Pink Cupcake out of it's box with the Surprise Button Bracelet!

I always LOVE to share something handmade, especially on Birthdays !!

Thanks to Becky and Julie for sharing their creativity!

Hope you enjoyed all the Birthday gift ideas!  Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!

Have a GREAT weekend !!

Happy Stamping !!

Cute Flowers instead of Bows

I have a quick post for you today.  It does have to do with my granddaughter's Birthday.  Ever since I became a Stampin' Up demonstrator I look at things differently.  Differently, meaning that everything relates to the Stampin' Up Family Color Collections.  So when I picked up some wrapping paper the other day to wrap some of the gifts that I was going to be sending down to my granddaughter, it happened.  The paper was close to Regal Rose with different colored flowers.  The flowers were Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, and Gable Green (now retired).   I had an idea then and I just needed to give it a try.  That was to make Flowers rather than a bow for the packages, since the bows usually get crushed during the mailing process.  A little weird maybe, but it turned out so cute that I had to share this with you.

Here's a picture of the gifts all wrapped up and ready to go.                 Ta Dah !!

I used the Fusion Flowers Die to make the flowers as they were exactly the same as on the paper!  Then added some gold brads for the center of the flowers.  I attached the flowers with dimensionals to a 2 1/2" Circle that I punched out.  They are pretty cute, don't you think?  So next time when you are wrapping up some gifts have FUN and do something a little bit different.

I'll be mailing them down to my granddaughter today!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today and have a Wonderful Day !!

Happy Stamping !!!

It's a "Cupcake" Birthday

I was a very busy lady this weekend trying to finish up on Birthday gifts that I was making for my granddaughter's Birthday this coming Sunday.  I was able to find everything on my list that I needed to pick up at the mall on Saturday.  That was a good thing.   Here are  a couple of the Birthday gifts that I finished over the weekend.  You should notice that I have a thing for Cupcakes currently!

Let's start out with the Cupcake Soap Holder.

This picture is the Closed View.  These Cupcakes are just too FUN!

I've made several of these starting with the "Wicked Cool" ones for Halloween  ( Here )  and then at our Holiday Dinner we made "Holiday" ones using the Reindeer soaps ( Here ) .  They didn't have anything out for Valentine's Day or I would have made them, but they had some  "CUPCAKE" ones which is perfect for Birthdays!  I've been waiting for some Birthdays to get creative with these.

This picture is the Opened View, that shows we are using the "Strawberry Cupcake" for this one.

Next up I have the "Cupcake Note Holder".

                                  This is the Closed View.

This is the Opened View.   Isn't the Cupcake note pad darling!

These started out at Halloween and then went on to Christmas.  Valentine's Day didn't happen as I ran out of time.  So I can see that I a have a pattern going on here.  LOL   This is the "Birthday" version, as I was able to find, you guessed it "Cupcake" note pads.   I have some really cute one for Easter too !!!
I have the link to the directions ( Here )    Original idea was from Terri Snider.

The Perfect Cupcake Birthday Card

Well I said that I have been busy making gifts for up coming Birthdays!  One being a Birthday card for my granddaughter's 12th Birthday.  So I have been looking for awhile to find the Perfect Birthday card to make for her Birthday.  While browsing my blog list the other day I found it, the Perfect Birthday card!  The card that I found was titled a "Card with a Twist", of course I just had to go check this out further.  While looking at the pictures of the card and trying to figure out how to make it.  To my surprise I see that there was even a tutorial to purchase!  Woo Hoo !!
Now I know that you'll want to know where I was.  I was visiting "Gettin Crafty" by Cristena Bagne.
I have the link to the tutorial ( Here )  There are some pretty cute pictures of her Yorkie playing in the Snow, that I'm sure you will enjoy and then below that you'll find the link.

Here's my take on the "Card with a Twist".

                                     Here's the Closed view.

Here's what you'll find when you first open the card.  I know you're all wondering what the "TWIST" is?  Well, when you open the card and fold down the bottom piece there is also a Gift Card Holder!
How cool is that!  I said to myself:  What more could a girl ask for???
Not only the Perfect card, but a Gift Card Holder too !!

Then when you open the doors, you have the "Special Birthday Wish" and I had to add "QUEEN for a Day" with a Crown on top where the Gift Card is!!  Everyone should be "Queen for a Day", especially when it's your 12th Birthday!

A Big THANK YOU, Cristena for sharing your creativity!!

Now my granddaughter's Birthday isn't until March 13th,  so MUM is the word.   LOL  :)

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you have a GREAT weekend with some Stamping Time!!

Happy Stamping !!

Punch Bunch Celebration Box

I've been busy working on Birthday gifts as I have quite a few Birthdays coming up in March and April.  My granddaughter's Birthday is in a couple of weeks.  She will be 12 this year!  I just don't know where the time goes these days.  I say that every year, especially when the grandkids get another year older.  I found the cutest little Birthday boxes and I wanted to share those with you today.
It's the Punch Bunch Celebration Box and it is the perfect little box to use for a small gift of almost anything!  The original idea can be found on Chick N Scratch - Angie Kennedy Juda's site  ( Here )   Thanks Angie !

I made two of these boxes, as my grandson's Birthday is in April.
That way I will hopefully be ahead of the game.  LOL
For my granddaughter's box I used Blushing Bride cardstock and Springtime Vintage Designer Paper with Blushing Bride 5/8" Poly Stitched Ribbon and Blushing Bride Glimmer Brads to attach the ribbon to the box.
For my grandson's box I used Pacific Point cardstock and Celebration Designer Paper and Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and Real Red Glimmer Brads to attach the ribbon to the box.
Add a little shredded paper and a small gift or some CHOCOLATE and you are ready to go!
You could also use these for Party Favors at a Birthday Party too!

Thanks for stopping by today !!!

Happy Stamping !!!
