Valentine's Day Gifts for the Grandkids - Part 2

This is Part 2 of the Valentine's Day Gifts for the Grandkids.

For today we'll start with this Fun Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Treat Holder.

You can make these any size that you want, that's what is so FUN about them.  These are holding one of my favorites for Valentine's Day, I'm sure that the Brach's Conversation Hearts have been every one's favorite over the years.

The close up view shows just how adorable these turned out!!  One of my favorite sets currently is the Monstermaniacs stamp set !!  Stampin' Up actually held a contest for anyone to create a New Stamp set.  This one is definitely a Winner for me !!  I also used the Just Sayin' stamp set and the Word Bubbles Framelits.  The Big Shot, Chalk Talk Framelits and the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.

Last but not least is the Valentine Twisty Treats Bag.

This is another one of the FREE Products that you can receive during Sale-A-Bration.  You get 12 cellophane bags, twist ties, and die cut tags.  Just think of all the cute things that you can do with these!

I forgot to mention that you even get the Silver glitter hearts too !!!  The Be Mine is from the Around Array stamp set.  Then I used the 5/8" Real Red Satin Ribbon (retired) to finish them off.

Thanks for stopping by today for Part 2 of the Valentine's Day Gifts for the Grandkids!!

Happy Stamping!!!

Valentine Gifts for the Grandkids

It's been pretty crazy lately, so I apologize for not getting these posted earlier.  I realize that it's a little late, but I still wanted to share some of the Valentine Gifts that I made for the grandkids this year.

This is a different take on an earlier post that I did for the Valentine Sweetheart Treat Bag and Card Holder.

You can see my earlier post, just click ( Here ).

These were so fun to make, such a great way to send a Valentine and Chocolate to someone.

This cute idea I saw over at Julie Davison's blog.  I just love the Monster Hugs Valentines!!

This is a closer view.  You make a box first, then attach the Monster Hugs to the back.  That way their arms wrap around to the front for a BIG HUG!!  So Cute!

Next up I have their Valentine Gift Card Holders.  I love how easy it is to make a Gift Card Holder now with the Card Base Pop 'n Cuts Die!!

Here's the close up view:

Next is the Open View:

Inside is an I-Tunes gift card.  They really enjoy those !
I used the Banner Blast stamp set and the Banner Punch from Sale-A-Bration.  Along with the Language of Love, Hearts A Flutter and the Love You to the Moon stamp sets.  White Baker's Twine and the 1/4" Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Okay, this is getting a little long.  I will have Part 2 of the rest of their gifts post tomorrow.  I promise.

As always,  I so want to Thank All of You for stopping by to view my late post for Valentine's Day !!

Happy Stamping !!!

Valentine's Day Class

Hello everyone,

Thought I would share a couple of the projects that we made at the Valentine's Day Treat Class that my Upline Susan Campfield had.  There were 4 projects to make during the Class and here at 2 of them.

The Sweetheart Mini Coffee Cup Holder:

These are really popular right now and they are made with the Mini Tasting Coffee Cups.  If you check out my prior post from Christmas, I made them as a Christmas Gift for Susan.  Just click (Here ) to view the details regarding how to order the Coffee Cups and the Templates from Deb Valder ( the original creator).

Here's a closer view.  I added the Hearts and the XOXO after I got home on both sides of the Holder.  The Hearts were left over after you run the handle through the Big Shot with the Hearts Framelits to make a hole in the Handle.  The XOXO is from the Circle Card Thinlits.  With a Basic Jewel Rhinestone for a little Bling!

Next up is this adorable Valentine's Day Treat Box:

We had a lot of fun making these.  Using the Decorative Window Gift Boxes.  The Roses were made using the New Spiral Flower Original Die.  They have little Dum Dum lollipops for the center which makes your stem.  The leaves were made using the 3/8" Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Add some candy, we used the individual wrapped lifesavers and then added some shredded paper to help hold the Roses in place.  The Crop-A-Dile (which is retired) was used to punch the holes in the Window of the box.  Then 3/4" Blushing Bride Chevron Ribbon was tied around the box.  The Stamp set is "Tags 4 You" carried over from the Holiday Catalog.

Here's a closer view for you:

Love the Roses on this project!!

A Big Thank You to Susan for the awesome Valentine's Day Treat Class!  We had a great time for sure!
I will post the other 2 projects hopefully this weekend.  Our Winter Stamp A Stack starts tomorrow.

I hope you give these Valentine's Day ideas a try.  It's so nice to give and receive a Hand Made gift for any Special Holiday or Occasion!

Thanks for stopping by today !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

I'm hoping that everyone had a great weekend !!! I wanted to share another Project that we made at Stamp Club last week.  This adorable Valentine's Day idea I saw over at Connie Stewart's Blog - Simply Simple Stamping.  It's so fun when you find a product that you can do so many things with.  The Sweatheart Treat Bags is just that!  The Sweatheart Treat Bag is too cute with the little white hearts all by itself.  But this takes it up a notch!

So here's the Sweatheart Treat Bag as not only a Treat Holder for some Ghirardelli Chocolate but tucked behind the Chocolate is a darling Valentine's Day card!  Who wouldn't enjoy receiving this on Valentine's Day !!

Here's a pic that shows all the pieces.  There's nothing that wasn't used that comes in the Sweatheart Treat Bags kit.  So you get the Sweatheart Treat Bag, the Banner on top of the card with the Baker's Twine bow and the Baker's Twine around the bag .  Just add some cardstock to make the card and you are ready to go!  Don't forget to add the Chocolate !!

Stamp set:  Love You More

So here's my Group pic:

I didn't realize that I actually used 2 different sizes of Heart Framelits while I was making these.   I can't decide which one I like better, so you can decide which one you like better.  The smaller one is from the Circle Card Thinlits and the larger one is from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

Here's a closer view:

Monster Hugs Valentines !

Well it's super cold outside here in Minnesota, so why not take advantage of it !!!  Getting started on Valentine Treats.  I've had so much fun with the Monster Hugs Valentines and the Sweetheart Treat Bags this weekend.  If you have kids in school, these 2 projects are just for YOU!!

How cute are these !!!

Assembly is so easy as everything is already done for you.  Complete the back with your names, attach the eye, add some Hershey Nuggets and wrap their arms around it.  You are ready to go for Valentine's Day at School !!!  Everything is included in the kit except for the Chocolate.  I just love them !

Here's a little closer look above.  Don't wait to order these as they are only available while supplies last !!

Next up here's a little spin for their Teachers at School:

The Sweetheart Treat Bags are so adorable !!  Just put your Candy Bar inside and then add a small belly band so you can attach the Monster Hugs to the bag.  The arms are folded accordion style so they can hold the "I Freakin' LOVE YOU".   I used the Decorative Label Punch for the background, then I added a piece of whisper white 1" x 1 1/2" to that.  Then add the Heart from the Monster Hugs Valentine Card kit.  I also used the Tag in the Sweetheart Treat Bags and attached that underneath.

Some of you may know that I love to use the Bags as a Special Treat Holder.  So to keep up with Tradition, I decided that the Sweetheart Treat Bags would be perfect!  Now what Teacher wouldn't Love to receive this for their Valentine this year ?

Hope you are staying warm this weekend and taking a minute or two to do some stamping !!

Thanks for stopping by today !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

DIVA Holiday Party- Part 2

Yesterday I showed you the gift that I received at our DIVA Holiday Party.  So today I wanted to share the gifts that I made for my Upline, Susan Campfield.

First off here is the Holiday Card that I made.  It's the 3 x 3 Card with the Ghirardelli Chocolate tucked in the back of the Mini Envelope that I shared a few days ago.  I changed up the colors this time and went with Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate with the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper.
You can check out the prior post by (clicking here)  Original idea is from Glenda Calkins.

Here's another picture.

Second I made a darling Hot Chocolate Treat Holder.  This idea is from Create with Connie & Mary's Winter Edition 2013, Mary Brown is the creator of this project.

This was made using the Tag A Bag Gift Bags, so cute with the Candy Cane as the closure.  The little tag actually hangs on the Candy Cane.

Fill your bag with hot chocolate, some marshmallows and of course you need a little peppermint chocolate too!

Now for the Grand Finale Gift.  These are those Tiny Taster Coffee Cups, Love them !!!  The cute little carrier is a Becky Roberts CASE.  The original creator of decorating the Tiny Taster Coffee Cups is Deb Valder.  I just love the Paper Straws, you can find them usually in the cake decorating area of your local hobby stores.  Season of Style Designer Series Paper to decorate your holder and cups.  The Merry Thinlit and the jingle bells are the cutest ever.  Sweets for the Sweet stamp set was used to decorate the tops of the cups.

The cups and lids are from  www.webstaurantstore.com.

Cups - 4oz. Paper Hot Cup 50/ $2.89 order number is 9994W
Lids - 4oz. Hot Paper Cup Travel Lid White $4.39 Order number is 999L4W

Add some YUMMY chocolate and peppermint candy and ENJOY !!!!!

That's all folks !!!

DIVA Holiday Party

Instead of our regular monthly meeting, in December we have our Annual Holiday Party.  Everyone brings a special treat for sharing and a special gift for exchanging.  This year we each picked a present from under the tree, then Susan read us a Christmas Poem.  Every time we heard the word Stamping or Stamps we had to pass our present to the person on our right.  When the poem was done that was the present that we received in the exchange.

So when the poem was done, this was the present that I received!! Woo Hoo

It's all about the wrap right?  Well this was amazing with the Burlap Ribbon and the Real Pine Cone on the front! And wait till you see what was inside !!

The most beautiful Christmas Blessings Candle.  Hand made by my Upline, Susan Campfield.

Soho Subway Designer Series Paper was placed around the candle using Modge Podge.  Then again on the outside Modge Podge was used and then the candle was rolled in Epson Salt.  It is absolutely gorgeous !!  The greeting was done in the same manner and accented with the Burlap Ribbon.

I will be posting my Special gifts to Susan as a "Thank You" for all that she does for us through out the year!  So grateful to have such an awesome Upline !!!   So I'm hoping to get those pictures posted tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by today !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Are you ready for the Holidays?

Well it's official now!  The Christmas tree is up and decorated!  Can you believe it?   I have proof.

So now let the parties begin !!  I actually went to my first Christmas gathering last night.  A Christmas Open House at my friend and fellow demonstrator Terri Snider.

When you go to a gathering you bring a hostess gift, right ?   Absolutely !!!

So that's what I did.  Here's a really cute idea last minute hostess gift, teacher gift, co-worker gift for Christmas.  Best of all it's really easy to make.  I saw this idea on Glenda Calkins blog, so I could definitely feel a CASE coming on for sure.  Start with a Mini envelope fold the flap inside, add a 3 x 3 card, add some Ghirardelli chocolate then slip them both inside for the perfect gift.  Decorate the front of the envelope and you are done.

Here's a picture of the Envelope with the chocolate tucked inside and the 3 x 3 card.

For the 3 x 3 card cut some whisper white card stock 2 3/4″ X 5 1/2″ and fold it in half to create a 2 3/4″ X 2 3/4″ square card.   Attach your card to a piece of coordinating card stock cut 3″ X 3″.

A Big Thank you to Glenda for this great idea!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Happy Stamping !!!

Last Minute Thanksgiving Goodies !!!

I finally got my Thanksgiving Goodies in the mail today and on their way down to the grandkids.  They will be a day late, but Im sure they will understand.  I have several pictures to share, so let's get started.

First up is a Thanksgiving Gift Card Holder and Treat Bags.  I love the Pop N Cuts Die !!  Perfect for whipping up a Cute Gift Card Holder for any occasion!  The grandkids love the Sour Patch treats, so I bagged some of them up and put a cute Tag on it for Thanksgiving.

The Deco Dies were used for the Gift Card front design and also the Tag.  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla cardstock, Chocolate Chip and Crushed Curry Inks, Circle Framelits, Label Bracket Punch, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Retired Gusseted Cello Bags, Tags 4 You, Teeny Tiny Wishes, A Gift For You and the  Harvest of Thanks stamps sets.

Here's a closer view of the Gift Card Holder open and closed.

These cute Tag a Bag Treat Holders have a Hershey Chocolate bar inside.  This Treat Holder is from my Convention Gifts, but the cute Turkey Idea I got from my upline - Susan Campfield.   Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper is used to make the Belly Band. For the Turkey you need Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Whisper White and Very Vanilla Cardstock.  The Tags 4 You stamp set and Chocolate Chip Ink.  Super Easy last minute gift for your Thanksgiving hostess.  What hostess doesn't love Chocolate !!

Envelope Punch Board - Christmas Cracker

I've been MIA for quite a while now, so sorry.   I've had 2 eye surgeries since August.  That kind of  slows one down when it comes to crafting.    I'll try to be better, but I'll just have to see how it goes.  So I thought I'd share a fun Christmas idea with you!!

Some of you may have seen these already, but I really just had to give this one a try.  For those of you who have the Envelope Punch Board, you are going to love this !!  One of my sister demonstrators shared these at our last monthly meeting.  Then another sister demonstrator shared one on our group Facebook page.  That was all it took.

So here's my try at this fun idea:

Now you can check out the video over at the Craftyhallet Blog by clicking  (Here)

I used the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper to make mine.  The Tag is made using the Deco Framelits, I used the Merry Little Christmas stamp set.  If you watch the video you can see how to make the cute accent that is attached to the tag.  I love it when you use all the left overs!  The cute accent is made from all the punch outs from the Envelope Punch Board.  You know the pieces that you usually throw away, not any more.   A Large Rhinestone in the center really adds some bling.
The Ribbon is the Baja Breeze Seam Binding (retired) and the New 1/8" Silver Ribbon in the Holiday catalog.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!!

Happy Stamping !!
