Convention Friends & Gifts - Part 2

Hello !!  I'm back !!

So sorry for the delay in posting my Part 2.   It just hasn't been a happening event lately.   So now I'm trying to get caught up with everything since Convention.  So this post is a little bit lengthy.

Here is one very good reason why:
Our darling granddaughter has been visiting us for the past 2 months.  We had such a great time and really enjoyed every single moment !!   I took her back home this past weekend, as school starts next Tuesday.   She actually made the No Sew Blanket that she is wrapped up in, all by herself after a few pointers from me.  And I thought that this project would keep her busy for a few days.  She had it all done in a day!  Silly me.   Miss You and Love You Kalina !!

Edited:     Just wanted to let you know that I removed the picture of Kalina at her request.

So we left off with Lorri Heiling and now we'll start with Connie Babbert and Mary Brown.

I was so excited when I ran into Connie and Mary just coming out of the Memento Mall.  Connie and Mary know me by name quite well as I was the one who paid for the same class twice.  They've already warned me that I have already paid for the next one.  We had a good laugh about that !

We had a few minutes to take some pics and do a quick swap.  This is the swap that I received from Connie.  Super cute idea that could be used for a variety of occasions, like holding a gift card for someone special!  Connie has her Business Card inside hers, what a great way to hand out your information to a new or existing customer!  Thank You Connie !

We had a Team Meeting the night before Convention started at Squatters.  Here are some very Special ladies!  Cherie Manderschied, Brenda Cardinal, Susan Campfield and myself.  I'm so thankful for their friendship!  Cherie is Brenda and Susan's Upline and Susan is my Upline.

This is one of the gifts that I received from Susan.  A beautiful card with a gorgeous bracelet attached.  The bracelet is made using the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons.

I also received this awesome gift from Susan too.  She doesn't sew, which makes this gift that much more special as she actually made these for all her downline at Convention.  This Business Card Holder was made using the New Essentials Designer Fabric.  I LOVE it !!  Thank You Susan!

Isn't this the cutest Mini Photo Album!!  I got this gift from Brenda.   Thank You Brenda!

It was so much FUN to meet these 2 ladies!!  Janet McColley and Jennifer Valk.  We were standing in line waiting to get into Momento Mall.  Jennifer said, your name is so familar.  So we got to talking and they recognized my name from Inking Everything with Becky !!  How exciting to meet 2 of the actual designers in Becky's group!!

This Beautiful pair of Earrings I received from Kathy Larrivey.  Becky actually arranged for Kathy and I to meet.  So we met at the Airport, shared a shuttle to the Hotel and then went to dinner together on Tuesday night.  Kathy is also in Becky's downline.  Thanks Kathy !!

While at lunch one day, I was so lucky to find Ann Schach!  I have been a follower of Ann's blog "The Stampin Schach" for quite some time.  So I was so excited to finally meet her in person!

Now this Lovely Lady has been the best roomie ever!!  Gloria and I have been Convention Roomies for the past 3 years.   Miss YOU Gloria!!  Looking forward to next year and watching you walk across the BIG Stage for your 5 Year Anniversary with Stampin' Up !!

Just a few reasons why I so LOVE what I do and LOVE sharing with YOU !!!!

Thanks for stopping by today and being so understanding while I was MIA !!

Happy Stamping !!!

Convention Friends & Gifts Part 1

One of my favorite things about Convention is getting to see my Stamping Friends !!!  My second favorite thing is getting to meet New Friends!!

So I thought I would share some of my pics from Convention with you.

                                               Kim Sinclair and Becky Roberts.

This is my 3rd year seeing these 2 awesome ladies at Convention.  Now I've been waiting for Becky to post the gift that I was so lucky to receive.   Since Becky posted it today, I'll share mine with you.

How darling is this gift !!!!  Now keep in mind that I had to put mine in my suitcase to make the trip back home.  Which is why the bag is a tiny bit wrinkled.  You can check out Becky's blog by clicking ( Here ) to get some of the details.  Thank You Becky !!

I received this beautiful card holder and cards from Kim.  It is always so much FUN not only to be able to see these 2 at convention, but giving and receiving Convention gifts is a loved tradition that we all share.   Thank You Kim !!!

I was also able to find Mary Fish and Mike Funke again this year.  They were busy swapping cards, when I found them.  I was lucky enough to spot them both again this year!

I was so excited that I was able to finally meet Lorri Heiling.  Her creativity is amazing.  I also found out that Lorri is originally from Prior Lake, MN.  Which is very close to the Twin Cities where I currently reside.

This Halloween Treat is the gift that I received from Lorri.   Super cute and inside is some yummy chocolate !!   Thank You Lorri !!!

I need to run, but I still have some additional pics to share with you.  So be sure to stop back !!

Happy Stamping !!!

Conventions Gifts - Part 2

Well a little late with posting the rest of the Convention Gifts.  But better late than never, right?

I posted the group picture of the Fabulous You - Chocolate Treat Holder earlier, but forgot to post the close up.  So here is a closer view of that.

Edited:  For details on the Chocolate Treat Holder - go to my prior post from last year by clicking ( Here )

Below is a picture of the gifts that I made for Gloria, my awesome Convention Roomie for the 3rd year in a row!   So we have a little 4th of July - Smore package, a Summer Smooches Card Tote, a 2 year planner, my swap cards and the Fabulous You - Chocolate Treat Holder.

The 4th of July - Smore package is 2 graham crackers, 1/2 of a Hershey Chocolate Bar, and the Smore Marshmallow.  The stars are also marshmallows.  All wrapped up in a gusseted bag and ribbon.

The Summer Smooches Card Tote idea is from LeeAnn Greff.  You can get the directions for this by clicking ( Here )

The 2 year Calendar Planner is one that I found at the "M" store.  I just make a cover for the front.  Calendar Cover -  6 3/8" x 7 3/4"  your choice of cardstock and then  3 5/8" x 6 1/8" your choice of Designer Series Paper

Here are my other Convention Gifts all wrapped up.  As Becky Robert's always says It's All About the Wrap !!  These bags were done with the Reason To Smile stamp set.

This year we had a Team Meeting before Convention got started over at Squatter's.  So I made these cute little gift boxes for our Team Meeting that night!  The original idea for the gift boxes is from none other than Becky Robert's.  Her gift boxes were End of Year Teacher Gifts.  The boxes are made the same and I just designed them around the Convention Theme for this year instead.

You can get the instructions for these darling gift boxes by clicking ( Here ).  This will take you to Becky's blog Inking Idaho.

Below is a picture of Becky's Gift Box filled with Cinnamon Bears:

Another one is a little closer view:

This is my idea of the Summer Gift Box that I had posted earlier, original idea is from Cristena Bagne.   To get to my earlier post just click ( Here ).  This will give you the link to the video that Cristena has on her blog.

Wow, I think that's it for today !!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog!

Happy Stamping !!!
