Mixed Bunch and Versa Shadow

Good Evening Ladies,

I hope that you all had a great weekend! Big snow storm up here yesterday and then into today! Wow, I was getting used to the NO snow winter, darn it!  We have lots of snow now!

So I took a snow day today! Yipee !! While I was browsing yesterday and today I ran across the Versa Shadow technique on Erin Gonzales' blog.   I'd not seen or heard of this technique, so I wanted to give it a try.   I needed to make a couple of Thank You cards and decided this would be the perfect time to play with this technique.

Here's my take on Erin's awesome technique discovery.    Versa Shadow !!

Now it looks like these Mixed Bunch flowers on the background are Rub-ons, but no they are not!
This is the Versa Shadow technique, isn't it awesome !!  A new WOW to show off, how exciting!

Here's a closer view.
I used Basic Gray and Whisper White cardstock and White Craft Ink for this technique.  For the greeting I did use Basic Gray Ink.  This makes such a stunning project!!  Erin has a video on how to do the Versa Shadow Technique, along with some additional tips.
For the link to Erin's video.  Just click ( Here ).
You really need to give this a try, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks Erin for sharing your Versa Shadow Technique with us !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

February Stamp Club

It's that time again to share my Stamp Club projects.   For February the ladies wanted to do a Happy Birthday Theme.  So we made 3 cards to cover all the Birthday Occasions!!

First up here is the group picture of all the Birthday Cards.

The first card is for the ladies.  I saw this card awhile back when I was browsing Mary Fish's website.  This is a case of Mary's card.  I just loved the vintage look you get when you add the Victoria Crochet Trim to it!

This card uses the Sale-A-Bration Designer Paper - Everyday Enchantment and the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set.
Cardstock is:  Very Vanilla, Peach Parfait
Ink:  Soft Suede, Peach Parfait
Jewels Basic Pearl Large, Wide Oval Punch, Labels Collection Framelits Dies, Stripes Embossing Folder and the Designers Frames Embossing Folder.

The second card was a Masculine Card.
Most say that the Masculine Card is always one that they struggle with ideas for and so I wanted to make sure we did one of these.    So here it is!

This too is another case of one of Mary Fish's cards.  Mary has a whole section of Masculine Cards on her blog.

Stamp Set:  Perfectly Penned
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Suede and VeryVanilla
Ink:  Early Espresso
Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper, Neutral Brads
The 1" square punch is used to make the flag like tail attached to the greeting.

For the 3rd Card, we have one for the Kids Birthday !

This is my take on a card that was over at Inking Everything with Becky!  I got my inspiration for this card from Penny Smiley.  I loved the cards that she did as the guest designer for that day!!

Stamp Set:  Send Me Soaring, P.S. I Love You
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade
Ink:  Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Basic Gray
Sweet Shop Designer Paper, Jewels Basic Pearls, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, 3/8" Ruffled Wisteria Wonder Ribbon, White Bakers Twine for the kite strings.

Well I just had to do another one for the boys!!

Same design, but I just changed up the colors.
Basic Gray, Riding Hood Red, Pear Pizzazz
Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and 1/8" Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon, 3/8" Certainly Celery Taffeta Ribbon.

Thanks to Mary and Penny for inspiring this Birthday Theme for this months Stamp Club!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Dresden Designs Flower Skirt

Good Evening Ladies !!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day !!!!

Today I wanted to share with you something else from our Quarterly meeting.   We have a very talented lady that always has the most awesome ideas when it comes to fabric and sewing.   About a year ago Brenda came up with the most darling outfit to wear for Regionals that were held in Minneapolis.  Brenda found a pattern to make the cutest little purse using the Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric.  Then Brenda was kind enough to show myself and another demonstrator in our group how to make them.  Now Brenda didn't stop with just the adorable purse, she also made a Designer Fabric Skirt and a Yo-Yo Pin from the same Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric.  She even had shoes to match!  Click ( Here ) to see my prior post.

Now at our recent Quarterly Meeting Brenda had a Brand New Skirt to share with us!!  It's the Dresden Designs Flower Skirt.   So I quick took a couple of pictures so that I could show it to you.

Is this not the most darling and cutest Skirt ever !!

The above picture is the front view of the Dresden Designs Skirt.
The stem and leaves are made using the New Pear Pizzazz Pleated Satin Ribbon and the center of the Flower is made using the Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon in the Occasions Mini.  The Flower Petals are made using the New Twitterpated Designer Fabric and the Dresden Designs Bigz Die.

Now not only was the front of the skirt decorated, but the back was TOO!!!
The Center of this Flower used the Riding Hood Red Pleated Satin Ribbon, everything else was the same as I noted above.  I just LOVE how creative Brenda is !!!

So don't forget to dust off those Sewing Machines and have some FUN with the Designer Fabric, the New Pleated Ribbon and the New Dresden Designs Bigz Die!!

Thanks Brenda !!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Valentine's Day Treat Holder Ideas - Part 3

Only 2 more days until Valentine's Day.  So here is Part 3 of my Valentine's Day Treat Holder Ideas.  You can view my prior post of Part 2  ( Here ) and then there is a link on Part 2 to my prior post of Part 1 the beginning of all these FUN ideas.

This would be the 8th Valentine's Day Treat Holder Idea.  The Panda Bear Treat Holder.

This project is one that I actually demonstrated at our Quarterly Meeting.  The idea is from Lisa Young, who always has the cutest Punch Art ideas.  Lisa has the tutorial on her blog  ( Here )

This little Panda Bear is the cutest thing ever.  Who wouldn't LOVE to get this cute Panda Bear as their Valentine Gift !!!  The Kit Kat is what is used for my Chocolate surprise, you could use any of
the Fun Size Candy Bars.

The 9th Valentine's Day Treat Holder is one of my favorites.  The Pretzel Bag Treat Holder.

The Pretzel Bags are super easy to do and I have made numerous ones for different occasions.
This one is a little bit longer than what I normally do, as I used Heart Shaped Nestles Crunch chocolates rather than the Hershey Nuggets.  I have dimensions for a Smaller Version using the Hershey Nuggets ( Here )

Here's a closer view.  I used the Labels Collection Framelits to make the Tag for this.  I just Love how you can make so many things with them!   Delightful Dozen stamp set with Red Glimmer paper for the Heart.  Tied up with 1/4" Pretty In Pink Grosgrain Ribbon.

For the 10th Valentine's Day Treat Holder.  I have a super cute Gum Holder.

These Gum Holders are always a great idea!   The first time that I made one of these was at one of our DIVA monthly meetings.  My upline Susan Campfield shared this cute idea with us as one of our Make & Takes and I continue to change things up to make them for different occasions.

Here's a closer view, so that you can see the darling Sweet Shop Designer Paper that makes this project so stinkin' cute !!!  The P. S. I Love You stamp set makes the greeting on this project.  All tied up with some Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon and some of the Sale-A-Bration Calypso Organdy Ribbon for an accent!!

The Dimensions for this holder are for the New Orbitz Gum size.
**Please note that each type of Gum could have a different size and then you would need to adjust these dimensions accordingly. **

Orbitz:
Cardstock -  3 3/4"  x  5 1/2"
Score @  1/2", 7/8", 3", and 3 4/8"
Designer Paper  2 1/8" x 3 3/4"   Cut ( 2 )

A BIG Thank You to Lisa Young and Susan Campfield for sharing their creativity!!

I want to Thank You ALL for stopping back to see Part 3 of my Valentine's Day Treat Holder Ideas!!

Have a Wonderful Weekend and make some FUN handmade gifts this year for Valentine's Day !!

Happy Stamping !!!

For the 5th Valentine's Day Treat Holder Idea we have one of my favorites, which I have made numerous times.  The Got Treats Cello Tube Holder.

This Treat Holder has yummy M &M's inside.  I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die.  Then I stamped the Got Treats Valentine Heart and cut it out for the center.

Here's a little closer view for you.

On to the 6th Treat Holder.  Which is a cute little Sweet Shop Bag that I saw over on Angie Kennedy Juda's blog.  This is a total case of Angie's idea because I thought it was just too cute !

Angie has a video tutorial for this cute bag.  Check out Angie's blog ( Here )

Here's a closer view for you of the cute little bag.  This one if filled with Dove Chocolates!!

Valentine Treat Holder Ideas - Part 1

Good Evening Ladies,

Well it was a busy weekend with lots of Stamping Fun.  Our Quarterly meeting was Saturday morning and I was asked to do a Demonstration for the meeting.  So the Theme for the Demo was Valentine's Day Treat Holder Ideas.  I had 10 different ideas for the demonstration, a couple I have already shown you.

One - The Valentine's Day Lollipops       ( Click Here )  to see my prior post.

Next up I have the Petite Pocket Valentine Treat Holder

This Treat Holder is made with the Petite Pocket XL Die.  Then I used the Hearts Framelit to cut out the Heart in the middle to show the candy hearts inside.  P. S. I Love You stamp set was used for the greeting tag punched out with the Modern Label Punch with Rhinestones for accents.  Then I used the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder to add some cute little Hearts on the closing flap.  All tied together with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine with a Heart out of the Twitterpated Designer Paper using the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit.

I tried to get a little closer view for you, but cut off the top.  It's called User Error something that follows me around these days.  LOL

For the Third Valentine's Day Treat Holder I have these darling Framelit Treat Holders.

This is my take on the Framelit Treat Holder that Angie Kennedy Juda shared on  her blog.     ( Click Here )  to see Angie's.
I used Blushing Bride Cardstock, accented with the Adorning Accents Border in the middle.  Border is Basic Black Cardstock punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border.  The greeting Tag here was made using the Delightful Dozen Stamp set.

The Super Cute Penquin I saw on LeeAnn Greff's blog.   So I just combined everything all together.
To see LeeAnn's directions for the Penquin Punch Art  ( Click Here )

Here's a closer view of them.  Super easy to make for a Special Someone for Valentine's Day!

For the Fourth Valentine's Day Treat Holder we have something that I saw on Becky Robert's blog.
Actually she made these for Leadership in January as part of her Leadership Gifts..

These Scallop Envelope Treat Holders are absolutely adorable!!!  I LOVE how she used all the bright colors to go with the Sale-A-Bration Designer paper.

Here's a closer view.
You can  ( Click Here )  to see all the things that Becky made to go with them.

So I would like to Thank Angie, LeeAnn and Becky for sharing their creativity !!

Be sure you stop back to check out the rest of the items that I brought for the Demonstration!!

I hope that you have a wonderful evening!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Valentine's Day Treat Ideas

Hello Ladies,

I have some Valentine's Day Treat Ideas to share with you.  With Valentine's Day right around the corner here are 2 really FUN ideas for you!

I saw this FUN idea over at Splitcoast Stampers.  Valentine's Day Lollipops.  I made these for some of my good friends that were going to Leadership.

These Lollipops are made using the small Candy Canes to make the Heart Shape.  Then you add a lollipop stick in the middle of the Heart.  Fill with Candy Melts and top with Valentine Sprinkles.  I put them in a clear bag and tied them at the bottom with some curly ribbon and a "Be My Valentine" greeting tag.  I used the  P.S. I Love You stamp set to make the tag.

.
Here's a close up view for you.   Unfortunately, I forgot to write down the person who shared this awesome idea on Splitcoast.  So if this is your idea, please let me know so I can give you credit.

Now this second idea is something else that I made for Becky Roberts.  One of her favorite things is Cinnamon Gummy Bears.  I sent these along with my Upline ( Susan Campfield ) as she was going to Leadership and she graciously delivered them to Becky for me.

It was so cute to see all the little bears lined up in a row!  The BagTopper was made using the Twitterpated Designer Paper that I ran through the Big Shot using the Top Note Die.  I added a Fluerettes II and a Basic Jewel Pearl for my embellishments.  Greeting is from the P. S. I Love You stamp set.

I will be doing a demonstration this upcoming weekend at our Quarterly meeting on Saturday, so I will have 9 more ideas to share with you next week.

Thanks for stopping by today !!   Take a few minutes to make some Handmade items this year for Valentine's Day !!

Happy Stamping !!!
