Since today is the last day to purchase from the Ocassions Mini and also the Sneak Peak items from the New 2011 - 2012 Idea and Catalog Book, I thought I would share 2 Birthday cards with you using some of the FUN products.  The Sneak Peak items are the Paisley Petals Designer Paper and the Four Frames stamp set.  The Bring on the Cake set is from the Ocassions Mini.  You don't want to miss out on having these FUN products from the Ocassions Mini or to wait until July for the New Catalog to order the Four Frames Stamp Set or the Paisley Petals Designer Paper, do you?  You still have some time, so place your order today.  You can place an online order by clicking ( Here ).

Easter Gifts for the Grandkids - Part 2

It's almost Easter and I am tracking my packages to the Grandkids.  Easter is my FAVORITE Holiday, and I'm sure you don't know why......  It's all the wonderful CHOCOLATE that is only available at Easter time!

So let's get started with Part 2 of my Easter Gifts for the Grandkids.

Now this first project is one of my Favorites.  I have made these Chocolate Candy Bouquets for different holidays in the past.  However, since I only started blogging back in September I haven't made one.  The Chocolate Candy Bouquets are super easy to make and they make any Occasion a very Special one that's for sure.  I usually seal them in up in clear shrink wrap and then tie them with a pretty ribbon.  This year I skipped that part.

This is a front view of the Chocolate Candy Bouquets.

I tried to get a little closer so that you could see some of the detail.

As you can see these Chocolate Candy Bouquets have some cute lollipops, a few styrofoam Easter Eggs, with a Peanut Butter Easter Bunny for the center of the Bouquet.  Then I added some Peanut Butter Dove Easter eggs which are flat on one side.  The finishing touch is a Beautiful Bow on the front using the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Pretty In Pink for my granddaughter and Marina Mist for my grandson.  Lollipop sticks were used to add the Chocolate pieces to a flower styrofoam piece inside the pail, topped with easter grass.  There you have it !!  Just imagine all the FUN that you would have making one of these!!

My last project I have made several times now for them.  I'm always looking for Cute little Post It Note Pads.  Which I have been pretty lucky lately in finding quite a few.

This picture shows the Front of the Post It Note Holder and then the inside view.

This idea was from a fellow demonstrator in my group - Terri Snyder.  So thankful for this great idea !!
Thanks again Terri !!  You can get the directions from my original post  ( Here )

I want to Thank You ALL for stopping by to check out my projects.
And I want to wish ALL of you a very Happy Easter!

Happy Stamping !!!

Easter Gifts for the Grandkids - Part 1

Well, I was really pushing it this time, but I did make it to the Post Office yesterday. Whew !! So I hope that their packages arrive on Saturday in time for Easter. This will need to be a 2 part post, as it might be way too long otherwise. But I so wanted to share with you what I made them for Easter! It's pretty much a Bunny Theme this year.

First is a Bunny Favor Box:

Aren't they just too cute!!! I saw something similar on Connie Babberts blog during the Tour de Freaks Blog Tour last month. I wasn't able to locate it again, so I will give you the face dimensions that Connie had.

The face is a 1 3/8" circle, the cheeks are 1" Whisper White circle punches and 3/4" circles layered in top. His nose is a 1/2" circle. The whiskers are slivers of Basic Black cardstock. My eyes are 1/2" circles with 1/4" circles of Basic Black, Connie's were a little different using the small oval punch then cut down. The Crumb Cake ears are Scallop Ovals and the Blushing Bride centers are punched with the Large Oval Punch. I used Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride Textured Cardstock for the Favor Boxes. Made the handle out of the left over cardstock from the Favor Boxes and ran it through the Big Shot again using the top of the Favor Box, so that both sides would match. The matching In Color Glimmer Brads were used to hold the handle in place. The Bow Ties are the Matching In Colors 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbon. Filled with M & M's, Chocolate Easter Eggs and a Reese's Bunny.

Next up are the Bunny Treat Bags:

There are quite a few of these around the blogger world. Using your Top Note Die and the Big Shot! The ears are made using the Wide and Large Oval Punches. The eyes are 3/4" Circle Punch and the Nose is the Small Heart Punch. The Bow Ties are the Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz In Color 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbons. White Gel Pen for the eyes and the Basic Black Journaler Marker for the Whiskers. Modern Label and Word Punch for the greeting using Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Filled with my grandson's favorite Tootsie Rolls!!

Next we have the Petal Cone Carrots:

I saw these darling Carrots on Angie Kennedy Juda's blog  ( Here )   Angie has a video and also Printer Friendly directions available. So I won't go into many details. I used Tangerine Tango cardstock, Retired Always Artichoke Designer Buttons and Always Artichoke 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. The carrots are filled with Jellie Beans!!     Thanks Angie !!!

I will post Part 2 tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my Easter gifts!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Thanks Frenchie for sharing!

April Stamp Club Projects

I hope that everyone had a great weekend !  I was busy getting ready for my April Stamp Club this coming Wednesday night.  This month we're going to be taking advantage of the Spring is Blossoming Sneak Peek !  For the FIRST time ever Stampin' UP is giving us a Sneek Peak on 2 items in the upcoming 2011 - 2012 Idea & Catalog Book.  How COOL is that !!  Check out my side bar for all the details on how to take advantage of this offer.

Our Stamp Club projects will be a Mother's Day Theme and all of them are using the items in the Sneek Peak Special.  The Paisley Petals Designer Paper and the Four Frames stamp set.

Here's the group picture of all the projects.

From left to right we have the Mother's Day Bonnet, the Mother's Day Card, and the 3 x 3 Mini Envelope Scrapbook Purse.  How awesome are these gifts for Mother's Day !!   Imagine your Mom receiving one or ALL of these gifts on Mother's Day!  It will make her day a Special one for sure!

I just LOVE these cute Bonnets.  I shared one with you last week.  So for the details click ( Here )
This time I used the Paisley Petals Designer Paper, which I am in LOVE with!  The colors are so amazing!  I used Whisper White Cardstock and Marina Mist 5/8" grosgrain ribbon with Baja Breeze seam binding.  The inside has Chocolate Easter Rolos!  Imagine that.  As I mentioned in my prior post you could also have a Button Bracelet inside too!  So many small gifts would fit inside for a great surprise.

Up next we have a Mother's Day Card.  As you can see I used the Paisley Petals Designer Paper and the Four Frames stamp set.  The inspiration for this card came from Selene Kempton.  Selene had several designs using the same layout.  This is my take on Selene's layout.  To view Selene's cards click ( Here )
Thanks Selene for sharing !!

This adorable 3 x 3 Mini Envelope Scrapbook Purse was on Becky Robert's blog yesterday.  She must have known that I was still needing an additional project for Stamp Club.  Actually she was doing an event this weekend with this project.

This is my take on Becky's project. I used the Paisley Petals Designer paper as Becky did, but I changed papers around and the ribbons. I used some different colors of cardstock and the entire Scallop Circle, as I didn't add the flower on the front. So let your imagination run wild!!

Here's my side view of this awesome project.

Becky has the details on her blog ( Here )  Thanks Becky for sharing the tutorial !!

Well that's all the projects for this month!  I hope that you give them a try and enjoy in all the Stamping FUN!!

Thanks for taking the time and stopping by today!    Have a wonderful day !

Happy Stamping !!!

A Bonnet for Easter or Mother's Day

Good Evening Ladies,  I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend!!
I was going to save this project until next week, but I just can't wait any longer.  I'm sure that some of you may have already seen these out on the internet, however I first saw this at our March DIVA Meeting.  Well I totally fell in LOVE with this idea!!

So I had to go home and make one of these cute bonnets.  I called my upline last night to see who was the original creator of this idea, so that I could give them credit on my post.  Susan said that she saw this on our Stampin' Connections site where demonstrators post their cards, ideas and projects for sharing with others.
The person who's post she saw was Kyla Roy Scoggins.
 So Thanks Kyla!!
 Then Susan recreated it.

And now this is my take on these bonnets.
We'll be making these as one of our Make & Takes at
my April Stamp Club!!!

This is the back view of the bonnet.
There is even a hidden Surprise!!

Can't you just imagine how much FUN it would be to give this to someone Special at Easter !!
Even better this would be an awesome gift for Mother's Day!!
You could put candy inside the bonnet or how about a button bracelet.
How you say?  Well the main part of the bonnet is an empty button container.
Inside I have some Easter Rolos! Imagine that, chocolate inside!!

You know I've been waiting for someone to create something wonderful so I could use my empty containers!

This is a side view or overhead view.

Here's my recipe:
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla
Springtime Vintage Designer Paper
Very Vanilla Seam Binding and Very Vanilla 5/8" grosgrain Ribbon
Rosettes, Circle Scallop Die, Polka Dot Embossing Folder,
2 1/2" Circle Punch, Snail and Glue Dots
An Empty Button Container from Stampin' Up!
So Ladies, don't throw those away when the buttons, brads, or trinkets are gone.
Use it to make one of these cute bonnets.

I want to Thank You for taking time to stop by today!

Happy Stamping !!!
