Well, I was really pushing it this time, but I did make it to the Post Office yesterday. Whew !! So I hope that their packages arrive on Saturday in time for Easter. This will need to be a 2 part post, as it might be way too long otherwise. But I so wanted to share with you what I made them for Easter! It's pretty much a Bunny Theme this year.
First is a Bunny Favor Box:
Aren't they just too cute!!! I saw something similar on Connie Babberts blog during the Tour de Freaks Blog Tour last month. I wasn't able to locate it again, so I will give you the face dimensions that Connie had.
The face is a 1 3/8" circle, the cheeks are 1" Whisper White circle punches and 3/4" circles layered in top. His nose is a 1/2" circle. The whiskers are slivers of Basic Black cardstock. My eyes are 1/2" circles with 1/4" circles of Basic Black, Connie's were a little different using the small oval punch then cut down. The Crumb Cake ears are Scallop Ovals and the Blushing Bride centers are punched with the Large Oval Punch. I used Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride Textured Cardstock for the Favor Boxes. Made the handle out of the left over cardstock from the Favor Boxes and ran it through the Big Shot again using the top of the Favor Box, so that both sides would match. The matching In Color Glimmer Brads were used to hold the handle in place. The Bow Ties are the Matching In Colors 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbon. Filled with M & M's, Chocolate Easter Eggs and a Reese's Bunny.
Next up are the Bunny Treat Bags:
There are quite a few of these around the blogger world. Using your Top Note Die and the Big Shot! The ears are made using the Wide and Large Oval Punches. The eyes are 3/4" Circle Punch and the Nose is the Small Heart Punch. The Bow Ties are the Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz In Color 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbons. White Gel Pen for the eyes and the Basic Black Journaler Marker for the Whiskers. Modern Label and Word Punch for the greeting using Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Filled with my grandson's favorite Tootsie Rolls!!
Next we have the Petal Cone Carrots:
I saw these darling Carrots on Angie Kennedy Juda's blog ( Here ) Angie has a video and also Printer Friendly directions available. So I won't go into many details. I used Tangerine Tango cardstock, Retired Always Artichoke Designer Buttons and Always Artichoke 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. The carrots are filled with Jellie Beans!! Thanks Angie !!!
I will post Part 2 tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my Easter gifts!!
Happy Stamping !!!
Sue
