About a week ago I had a workshop with a wonderful group of ladies from the Princeton, Zimmerman and Anoka areas of Minnesota. The excitement for getting together to stamp with friends was awesome! Our gracious hostess made the most yummy Pumpkin Bars for Dessert and we just added some great conversation !!
Just picture yourself and all of your friends setting aside a special night just to get together.
Then IMAGINE how fun that would be catching up with good friends and to make your Holiday cards! Give me a call and we'll plan for some FUN!!
We just had the best time making the following cards for the Holidays!
Here's the first card using the Day of Gratitude stamp set. It's an Envelope Card, which I'm sure that you've seen. This is my take to use for Thanksgiving!
Recipe:
Day of Gratitude Stamp Set
Ink: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, More Mustard
Cardstock:
Early Espresso 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" Plus a scrap
Cajun Craze 4" x 5 1/2" Plus a scrap
Very Vanilla 3 3/4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Plus a scrap
More Mustard cardstock 2 1/2" x 4 1/4", 3" x 3"
Autumn Spice Designer Paper 1 1/2" x 3 3/4", 2 1/4" x 4"
1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Punch, Extra Large Decorative Label Punch, Very Vanilla Medium Envelope
You'll want to seal the envelope first then cut the envelope on the sealed side, so that it will be 4 1/4" across. Then you layer the Early Espresso on top of the envelope, making sure that you cover the sealed envelope side.
The second card was a very elegant Christmas card that was designed by Susan Campfield and Brenda Cardinal for our Stamp A Stack Event that was held earlier in October.
