Flower Fest Thank You Cards
You know it's the little things that count the most, right? So I thought I would share the "Thank You" cards that I made for my Stamp Club members and those who pre-ordered a catalog from me.
I'm really loving the Flower Fest stamp set that is in the Summer Mini !!
Here's my Thank You card.
I used the Gift Notes and envelopes that are retired. They are a little smaller than the Note Cards.
The Ink Colors are a Sneak Peek from the New In Colors - Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Black Stazon. This card also uses the Burnishing Technique, which makes the flowers really stand out.
I'm hoping that everyone enjoyed them as much as I did making them. Remember it's the little things that make a difference. Take time and make someone that you know happy, by sending them a handmade "Thank You" card.
Happy Stamping !!

Springtime Vintage Purse
A couple of weeks ago I was so lucky to have a fellow demonstrator share what she LOVES with me !! Brenda Cardinal invited myself and another fellow demonstrator Carol Rosengren over to learn how to make this Fabulous purse.
You may have seen my earlier post where at the Minneapolis Regionals in February, Brenda first showed us her Fabulous Springtime Vintage purse.
If not, then here it is again. Brenda not only had a Fabulous purse, but she also made a matching Skirt and a Yo Yo Pin. She even had found the perfect shoes to match !!
So when Brenda offered to share her talents with us, we jumped at the chance to let her! After several hours of measuring, cutting, ironing and sewing. Then to add to the FUN and conversation, Carol had brought a little dinner for us to enjoy!! With purse handles purchased and more ordered the sewing complete we were finished with our very own Fabulous Springtime Vintage Purses! Woo Hoo !!
Here is the Finished Purse !!
This is a view from the Front of my Fabulous Springtime Vintage Purse. Isn't it just too adorable!!
This is a Side view of my Fabulous Springtime Vintage Purse.
The pattern and the handles are from Quilts Plus. The Purse pattern is called "Silver Frame Purse".
You can check out the website ( Here )
Just imagine what you'll be able to do with ALL the fabric that is still available to order !! I heard that there will even be some additional Fabric in the NEW 2011 - 2012 Idea Book & Catalog! If you haven't Pre-Ordered your catalog yet, what are you waiting for? Send me an email (sdyas0936@msn.com) and I will include a little surprise for you with your catalog!
Go ahead and dust off those sewing machines that have been put away for awhile.
You'll have a GREAT time !!
I want to Thank all of You for stopping by today!!
Enjoy your Thursday !!
Happy Stamping !!!

June Stamp Club Projects
Wow, where does the time go? Summer is almost here and Convention 2011 is right around the corner.
This was our last club meeting until September. We take a couple of months off for all the Summer activities that are going on. So I decided that we needed to make some Funky Fold Cards at our club meeting.
So let's get started!!
Here's the Group Picture of the 3 Funky Fold Cards that we made.
All the cards are using stamp sets from the Summer Mini.
The first card is a Side Stair Step Card using the Fabulous Florets set, the middle card is an Easel Card using the Flower Fest set and the last one is a Gate Fold Card using the Pretty Postage set.
This cute Birthday card is a Side Stair Step card. Did you know that you can switch which side you want the Stair Step to be on? FUN !! Inspired by Chat Wszelaki's June tutorial. ( Here )
The recipe is what I used to make Chat's card.
Recipe:
Stamp sets - Fabulous Florets, Curly Cute
Cardstock - Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz
Patterns Designer Paper - Daffodil Delight
Ink - Old Olive
3/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Jewels Pearls, Scallop Border Punch, Paper Piercing Tool
The second card is a cute version of the Easel Card.
This is the Closed View.
This is the Open View.
This card is using the Flower Fest stamp set. Then how cute is this Faux Scrunchy Bow. I just love how the Scrunchy Faux Bow is what makes this card stand up! This card was a CASE from Dawn Olchefske. ( Here ) Dawn has a video on how to make the Scrunchy Bow! ( Here ) Two original creators of this fantastic bow, Ruth Bingle and Mary Brown.
These Faux bows ROCK ladies!!
Recipe: Stamps set - Flower Fest, Happy Greetings
Cardstock - Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, Basic Black
Ink - Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Black Stazon
1-1/4" Circle Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch, Big Shot, Scallop Circle Die, 3-1/2" Circle Die, 3" Circle Die, 1-1/4" Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Clear Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals
The third card is a Gate Fold Card, using the Pretty Postage stamp set.
For the Gate Fold Card, you start with a 5 1/2" x 12" piece of cardstock.
The 12" side is scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10".
Inspired by Chat Wszelaki's May Tutorial ( Here ) I just made it be a Gate Fold card instead.
Thanks to both Chat Wszelaki and Dawn Olchefske !!
I so want to thank all of you for stopping by!! I hope that you have a wonderful week!!
Happy Stamping !!!

Blossom Bouquet Punch Card
Well I didn't quite make it back yesterday as promised. Busy Day all around and work just wasn't cooperating yesterday either.
I wanted to share this Blossom Bouquet Punch card with you today. This was one of our Make and Takes from our DIVA meeting last month. I just love this Triple Punch idea! It was so much FUN to make this card and super easy too! We took 3 colors and used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Punch to make our shapes for this card. Mix and Match the colors and we even ran some of the cardstock through the Lattice Square Embossing Folder to add some texture. Added a couple of Bitty Buttons and the Decorative Label Punch and there you have it! We even used all the pieces that were punched, so no leftovers!
Recipe:
Cardstock - Pear Pizzazz 5" x 10" Scored @ 5"
Plus Scraps for punching.
Perfect Plum 4 7/8" x 4 7/8"
Plus Scraps for punching.
Baja Breeze Scraps for punching.
Whisper White 4 3/4" x 4 3/4"
Plus a Scrap for punching.
Blossom Bouquet Triple Punch, Decorative Label Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Lattice Square Embossing Folder, Bitty Buttons.
Thanks go to Susan Campfield for sharing her creativity with us!
Thanks again for taking time to stop by today and Have a Wonderful Day !!
Happy Stamping!!!
