Wicked Cool and A Cute Christmas

A little "Wicked Cool" for Halloween and "A Cute Christmas" for you.  These are the cards that were made at my last workshop on September 21st.  It was fun doing both Holidays at the same time.  Everyone just loved the New Embossing Folders from the Holiday Mini.  Both of the folders used to make these 2 cards were a big hit and several customers place them on their orders.

The "Wicked Cool" card I cased from Melissa Stout (here)

Recipe:   Wicked Cool stamp set
Whisper White, Basic Black and Basic Gray cardstock
               Wicked Cool Designer Paper
                Black Stazon Ink
                1/2" Raven Lace Trim
               Spider Web Embossing Folder

For the card using  "A Cute Christmas" this was cased from Sandi MacIver's Fast and Fun Cards (here)

There is a really fun technique on this card.  You use the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Extra Large Punch.  Then you use a regular hole punch and punch that right in the middle of the scallop.  So Cool!   With the Northern Flurries Embossing folder this was a "WOW" card for me.

Recipe:   A Cute Christmas stamp set
Marina Mist and Whisper White cardstock.
Black Stazon and Marina Mist ink
              Frost White Shimmer Paint
Marina Mist and Blushing Bride Markers
Marina Mist 1/8 Ribbon and Whisper White Organza Ribbon
              2 3/8' Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4 Circle Punch,
              New Medium Oval Punch
              Northern Flurries Embossing Folder

I hope you enjoy these two cards.  They were fast and fun cards with a "WOW".

I like your snowman card. How did you do the greeting?

The greeting was done using the New Medium Oval Punch. Stamp Greeting and then punch out. Then punch another oval using Baja Breeze cardstock. Cut the Baja Breeze oval in half, place one half on top and the other half on the bottom. Use snail or mono to adhere at top and bottom back of greeting. Hope this helps. Sue
