Toxic Treats Cello Bags

Wow, It's already Wednesday and I was wishing it was Friday.   So that I can have some stamping fun.  Time is flying by way too quickly these days.

I finally have a few minutes to post.  I do have quite a few things to share, but today I decided to start with the Toxic Treats Cello Bags.  This was an idea in the September Stampin' Success magazine.  I just thought they were so cute !!!

Here's the group picture of some of them:

Now originally, I had filled the cello bags with candy corn.  This was how they were shown in the Stampin' Success Magazine.  Then on Monday, I found out that there is a New M & M flavor.  Can you believe it, the New Flavor is Candy Corn and the M & M's are in the colors of candy corn.
How cool is that !!  So I just had to redo them to see how they would look.

Here's a closer view.  I think they turned out really cute!!  These will be going down to the Grandkids and to some of their special friends.

Recipe:
Stamp Set -  Toxic Treats
Whisper White cardstock
Black Stazon and Tangerine Tango Ink
Cello Bags, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  Add your favorite candy treat and you are ready for some Fun Treats to hand out for Halloween!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!
I do have the 10 Projects from the  - Googly Ghouls Class that I signed up for with my Upline to share with you.  Along with our September Diva Meeting Make n Takes.

Googly Ghouls Card

I hope that everyone had an awesome weekend.  I've been trying to get everything ready for the next Session of Stamp Club, which starts this Thursday!  Almost there.

But today I wanted to share this FUN Halloween card that I saw over at Becky Robert's blog.  I'm so excited that we have the New Holiday catalog earlier this year.  Halloween is one of my favorites and this year we have some extra time to get ready for that!  So since I haven't had a Becky Roberts day in quite some time, thought it would be a good way to start off the week.

Here is the Googly Ghouls Card that is a total case of Becky's card.

This card uses one of my favorites for quite some time, which is the Googlie Eyes!  So I was super thrilled when I saw these were in the Holiday catalog!  This card is from Becky's Monsters & Ghouls Tutorial.    Here's a link to Becky's Blog for the details just click ( Here ) .   Thanks Becky !!!

Thanks for stopping by today !!!   Have a great day!!

Happy Stamping !!!

Fabric Scissors Holders

Our Quarterly Meeting was last Saturday.  I was one of the demonstrations for the day.  I chose to demonstrate the Fabric Scissors Holders that we saw as a Wow at Convention by Laura Milligan.  They are super cute and pretty easy to make.

Here's a Group Picture of some that I made this weekend for Hostess gifts for my Stamp Club Ladies:

Aren't they just too cute!!!  Looks like I have ice cream cones hanging from my New Card Holder that I got at Convention.
LOVE it !!

Here's a closer view of three of them:

The Fabric that I used was Floral District, Twitterpated, and Spice Cake.  I also made one using the New Essentials Designer Fabric which I received from the awesome extra class that I took while at Convention -  " I Am Inspired " by Donna Griffith.

Here's the details:
You need 2 pieces of fabric -  5" x 6 1/2"
One piece of Batting  -  5" x 6 1/2"  Here's the brand that I used "Warm and White Batting"
Fabric Adhesive Roll - found on pg 177 of the Annual Cataglog
2 pieces of Fabric Adhesive  -  5" x 6 1/2"
Petal Cone Bigz L Die, Big Shot, Floral Frames Framelits, Designer Buttons, Baker's Twine, Glue Dots and some Velcro Dots (non SU).

Iron the Fabric Adhesive onto each side of the Batting piece.  Then iron on the Fabric of your choice to each side.  Then run this through the Big Shot using the Petal Cone Bigz L Die. Get your sewing machine out and sew around the top edges.  Fold together and sew down the one side.  Fold the front flap over and add a velcro dot on the underneath side of the flap.  Run some scraps of fabric through the Big Shot using the second smallest Floral Frames Framelit.  These go on the front flap with a Designer Button on top of them.  Baker's Twine is used to make a bow on the Designer Button.  I did find a video by Maria Fennley for those who are like me and need to visually see something.   Click ( Here )  to go to the video.

These would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays !!!

Thanks for stopping by today !!  I hope the everyone is enjoying the Labor Day Holiday today!

Happy Stamping !!!
