A Spooktacular Surprise !!!

At Convention this year I had the great pleasure of meeting Becky Roberts and her BFF (Kim Sinclair).

These two ladies are so very "Special" to me and I am very honored to have their friendship.
I was so excited when my Spooktacular Events package came in the mail on Friday from Kim.   Kim had invited me to Montana so that I could be there in person.  But unfortunately, I was not able to attend.   I even tried pouting and that didn't help.  But to the good news:   I was so fortunate to be one of the lucky ones who was able to purchase an extra kit from the Spooktacular Events.  And if that wasn't enough excitement, then on Monday the UPS man stopped by my house to deliver a package from Becky.
Woo Hoo !!!!   I was like a little kid who couldn't wait to get everything opened to see inside.  With Becky's permission I am able to show you the wonderful creations that Becky and Kim had for the lucky participants to make at the Spooktacular Events.

Along with a little surprise from Becky.

I "Thank You Both"  from the bottom of my Heart !!!

I sure hope that I didn't make any mistakes.

Send Kim an email if you would like to purchase one of the Spooktacular Events Kits.

Don't wait too long as there are only a couple of packages available!

You might want to check out Kim's blog (here)
and Becky's blog (here) as they have some pics of the all the FUN that I missed out on.

Maybe I can talk you both into coming to Minneapolis and doing an EVENT here?

                                                     Well,  I can dream can't I.......

I  hope that you are having as much FUN as I have this week !!!!

Simply Elegant - Peaceful Seasons Card

Sorry for the long delay in posting.  It's been a crazy few days here, with Stamp Club last Thursday and then our Quarterly Meeting on Saturday, where I demonstrated to the group.  To Tuesday's Workshop and then last night the 1st Pre-Season Minnesota WILD hockey game!!  Whew...... glad we'll be back to normal for at least a couple of days.

This Elegant Card is using the "Peaceful Seasons" stamp set.  All demonstrators who attended Convention this year received this stamp set as a gift from Shelli Gardner.  The "Peaceful Seasons" Level 2 Hostess stamp set is in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 5.

The inspiration came from a card that I saw on Stampin' Connections, which is a wonderful place for demonstrators to share their creations.  I changed the ribbon to the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and I didn't add the little dove,  like Sandi has on her's.   You can see Sandi's card on her blog.   (here)
Hope you like it!

  Details         Cardstock is: Cherry Cobbler     8 1/2" x 5 1/2",  3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
                                          Very Vanilla.         4 " x 5 1/4",   3" x 2"
Ink is:  Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler
Ribbon is:   Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding

Hope that you are having a Wonderful week!!

Simply Sent Cards and Card Holder

Did you ever forget to make a card for someone or need to make a card or gift quickly?  The Simply Sent Cards gives you just these options.  So when you forget to make a card or if something comes up suddenly, all you have to do is stamp your saying and decorate.  The Simply Sent Card Kits come with the cards, envelopes and embellishments to decorate the cards.  You can use a stamp set that you currently have or order the Stamp Set that is shown with the Cards in the Stampin' Up Catalog.  These can be found on page 182 and 183.  I also made a cute card holder to use as a gift for a Special Friend.   I used the "Simply Sent Something Special" and the "Simply Sent Sweet Hello".  There is one more, which is the "Simply Sent Elegant Engravings".  This was a demonstration that I did yesterday.

These are the Card Holders that I made.  You need a 12" x 10" piece of Cardstock (I used Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie)  On the 12" side you will score at 5 3/4 and 6 1/4.  On the 10" side you will score at 3 1/2".  Fold the bottom up and adhere in the center between the score lines and far end of each side.  This will form the pockets for you.  Decorate as you wish.

These are the Simply Sent Sweet Hello Cards that I made for the Card Holder.

These are the Simply Sent Something Special Cards that I made for the Card Holder.

Hope that you had a great weekend !!!
          Happy Stamping !!

September Stamp Club Projects

Here's the projects that we will be making tomorrow night at Stamp Club.
This is the first meeting for this next session of Stamp Club.
We have a Halloween Theme for the evening along with the
                                  New Color Charts.

The Halloween card using the Wicked Cool stamp set is from the
September Tutorial from Chat @ Me, My Stamps & I.
You can check out her blog for ordering the Tutorial.  (here)

The Hallowen Treat Box is using the "Batty for You" stamp set and the Scallop Square Duo Die.
Wicked Cool Designer Paper, Scallop Circle and 1 3/8 Circle Punch.
The original idea was on Splitcoast Stampers by Tammy Fite.
You can see her Halloween Treat Box and directions on her site (here)

The Color Chart Sheets were created by Patty Bennett.
So nice to have on hand with all the New Colors that
were added in the 2010 - 2011 Idea Book & Catalog.
Patty has a download on her site (here)

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday!
