Bright Blossoms
I hope that everyone is enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend!! I'm trying to get caught up on some things this weekend. Thought I better get a post done, since I can't seem to do that faithfully these past couple of months.
I have a couple of the Bright Blossoms cards to share with you today. These were our Make & Takes from our DIVA monthly meeting in April which I didn't get posted.
Here's the first one:
I really like how easy it is to use the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate with the Simply Scored Tool. That's how we made the background for this cute card !! You could make this card for any occasion. I'm pretty sure that Susan said the original creator of this card was Dawn Olchefske.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry 4 x 5 1/4", 1 3/8" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 5 1/4"
3 3/4" x 5"
1 1/8" x 3 1/2 "
Here's the next Bright Blossoms card:
This card would Brighten up anyone's day, don't you think? We used the Stripes Embossing Folder for the background on the bottom half of the card. The strip of Tempting Turquoise Paper is used in the middle.
Wide Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Brights Buttons, White Baker's Twine. Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive Markers.
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise
The Bright Blossoms stamp set was the Promotion set in April and will also be in the New Annual Catalog. Only 4 more days!
Dont' Miss Out on getting your favorites from the Retiring Stamp sets before they are gone!!
You only have 4 more days !! Check out my right hand side bar to go shopping !!
Thanks to Susan Campfield and Dawn Olchefske for our card ideas !!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Memorial Day !!
Happy Stamping !!

Friendly Phrases - Birthday Card
I know long time no post. Sorry for that. This weekend was quite busy with activities. One being the American Heart Association Heart walk, which I participated in with my BFF "Dawn" she is a survivor.
Then we also celebrated her 6th Anniversary as a survivor, along with her Birthday which was yesterday.
Now I wanted a Special Birthday card, as it was her 40th Birthday. I saw this card on Splitcoast and loved how fresh and spring looking it was. This card was for a challenge over at Sketch Frenzy. The original card idea is from Debra Currier. I changed a few things, but not too much. You can check out Debra' card ( Here ).
This is my take of Debra's Card:
Stamp Set: Friendly Phrases
Cardstock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade
Designer Paper: Summer Smooches
Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon, Brights Collection Button, Baker's Twine, 1 3/4 Circle punch, Blossom punch, Adorning Accent EB folder, Polka Dot EB folder.
Happy Birthday Dawn !!
Thanks for stopping by today !!

Thank You Cards and Holder
Finally I got some time to post!!
I have a super cute Card Holder with 5 Cards to share with you today. I thought I better get this posted as it uses the Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper and some of the retiring In Color cardstock.
Here's the Group picture:
I saw this a while back on someone's blog. You know how sometimes you start out on a blog but get carried away to other blogs. Apparently that was the case this day. I've been unable to find the creator of this cute project, so if this is yours please let me know so I can give you credit.
Here's a close up of the Card Holder.
Nothing fancy, but I think I loved the simplicity of the holder. Now the original holder had a ribbon around the top which keeps everything in place. I used the Thanks tag on the front to do that, but you could still use a ribbon along with it. Another ribbon to hold the cards and envelopes on the inside.
Now here's a close up of the cute cards.
Super cute and I love all the different colors that are all actually in the Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper. Really ties everything all together. Again simple but so cute !! The cards that go inside of the Card Holder are 3" x 3" with Mini Whisper White envelopes. I know that I'm going to really miss my Concord Crush cardstock!!
Stamp Set are:
Thank You Kindly (retiring), Mixed Bunch, Friendly Phrases and Fresh Vintage (SAB)
Designer Series Paper: Cheerful Treat (Hostess) 11" x 3 1/2"
Score @ 3 1/2", 5 1/8", 8 5/8"
Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder 3" x 6" and 1 1/2"
Bashful Blue 3" x 6" and 1 1/2"
Lucky Limeade 3" x 6" and 1 1/2"
Melon Mambo 3" x 6" and 1 1/2"
Concord Crush 3" x 6" and 1 1/2"
Whisper White (6) @ 3" x 1 3/8" Plus some scraps
Sale-A-Bration Ribbon was used for the centers. 1" Circle Punch, Label Collection Framelits, Basic Pearl Jewels .
Thanks for stopping by today!! Remember Mother's Day is right around the corner, so send a hand stamped card this year !!
Happy Stamping !!

So today I thought that I would share my Swap Card for the Month of April, " Field Flowers ".
I'm in a monthly Swap with some fellow demonstrators, so much FUN to see all the card ideas each month when they arrive! I just LOVE this stamp set and I am so glad it will still be in the New Catalog come June 1st!
So I guess you could say that it's a Chat Wszelaki Day!!
The Field Flowers card is from Chat's September 2011 monthly tutorial. You can click ( Here ) to check out Chat's blog or to order this tutorial.
This card has a lot of texture with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder and the Scallop Trim Border Punch edge on the side. The Field Flowers are popped up with dimensionals for added depth to this card. For the greeting Friendly Phrases stamp set was used.
Thank You Chat for sharing your talents with us !!!!
