DSP Swatch Books

Wow - Paper Crafting Made Easier with DSP Swatch Books - I Love them !!!
Books3

I always get excited when I find a good organization tool or idea for my Stampin' Room.  So here's my Cool Tool Suggestion For the New 2013 - 2014 Annual Catalog and starting August 1st, for the New Holiday Catalog too!!

Brian King (a member of the  Stampin' Pretty Pals Virtual Community) has a super cool tool that he is offering, it's Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (also known as "DSP") Swatch Books.  We were able to purchase something similar from Stampin' Up for a few years at Convention.  I Loved them and so did my customers!!  When I saw these on Brian's Blog  (Stamp With Brian ) I knew that I needed to have these again !!  Not only for my customers to browse through, but for my own Personal use too.  Brian is offering 13 choices of DSP in the new Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 Annual Catalog and starting August 1st, you will also be able to place an order for the New Holiday DSP Swatch Books!  So my order is in !!

Here's just a few really good reasons why I LOVE the DSP Swatch Books:
  • You get 11 Designer Series Paper Swatch Books PLUS 2 Specialty Designer Series Swatch Books.  PLUS starting August 1st the New Holiday Designer Series Paper Swatch Books!!
  • The swatch books are compact for quick access and easy storage.
  • Flip style allows you to see all the patterns within each collection in a flash.
  • Swatch books are labeled on the back along with a coordinating colors list.  Woo Hoo !!
  • I don't have to drag out all my 12 x 12 DSP when I'm in decision-making mode (not to mention all the scraps that can go flying in the air).
  • Demonstrators find them to be a convenient way to share real samples with their customers.
  • You will LOVE them too for your own Personal Creating Tool.

Fun Things from Convention

While we were at Convention we were asked to participate in breaking a Guinness World Record of the most greeting cards sent from a single location. It's official, we did it!  We stood in long lines to do it...seems we stood in a lot of lines this year.  The 25th Anniversary was the place to be.

I am not sure the grand total though, I think it was over 3K. It was nice to be part of it.

Convention Gifts 2013 - Part 2

Good Morning Ladies,

I thought I would continue with some additional Convention Gifts that I made this year.

In my prior post I shared one of the Gift Bags with you.  Here is the second Gift Bag that I made.

The Tag A Bag Gift Bags have so many uses.  Here I used them as my Gift Bag and inside they found their gifts.  The Tag a Bag accessory kit was used for the greeting attached with the Mini Clothes Pin.  I'm loving this New Product !!

I made quite a few of the New In Color Bookmarks this year, so I added one to their gifts inside of the gift bag.  A Big Thank You to Brenda Quintana for sharing once again her templates for the Bookmarks.   You can click ( Here ) for Brenda's tutorial.

I love Lollipops and they are a favorite of mine as you will see them in prior posts.  There's also a picture in the New Catalog of a similar idea on page 31 as a Thank You.  So I made these for our Team Lunch for all my Teammates.

Of course I saved the BEST for last.  This Flower Garden Box is just one of the many projects from Create with Connie and Mary's Summer 2013 Edition.  You can still order the entire Collection of Tutorials with color pictures, you can click ( Here ) or I also have the link on my Right Hand Side Bar towards the top.
A really BIG Thank YOU to Connie and Mary for this idea.  It was a Big Hit at Convention.

That's it for today!  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Stamping !!!

Convention Gifts 2013

I'm back from the Stampin' Up! Convention--Inspired, renewed and motivated!!  Wow, what an amazing Convention this year where we celebrated Stampin' Up's 25th Anniversary !!!   Convention is always so much FUN, but this year had a special flavor being the 25th Anniversary !!
It was especially nice to see that so many of my Stamping Friends made it to this years Convention!

Now that the gifts have been given out, I can now share some pics of those gifts that I made for Convention.

Let's start with my Convention Card:

This card uses 2 fun new Stamp sets, "Chalk Talk" and Flower Shop".
The flower center is made using the Simply Pressed Clay and then adding some of the Gingham Garden Designer Paper.  How Fun is that!

Some of the gifts were given in this Gift Bag:

My Roomie for the fourth year, Gloria was one of the lucky ones to receive this Gift Bag.

Now for the past several years I've made a Treat Holder for a Hershey candy bar.  So I decided to switch it up a little bit this year and this is what I came up with.   The Tag a Bag Gift Bags were perfect for this Chocolate Treat Holder!!

The bag is folded in half and the Hershey candy bar is inside.  Again I used the Gingham Garden Designer Paper and wrapped that around the middle.  Added flowers made using the Blossom Punch and after using the New Flower Shop stamp set I used the Pansy Punch.  The Lovely Romance set was used for my greeting.

I made these charms for some Special friends.  I was really hoping that the Soda Pop Tops would make it into the New Catalog, but they did not.  Oh well, they can be used on your purse, scissors or maybe a Convention bag!

I'll be back with some additional pictures of gifts and fabulous friends from Convention.

Thanks for stopping by today !!!

Happy Stamping !!!
