Easter Baskets using Happy Hello Simply Sent

Hello Ladies,

Finally got some time to play!  In order to share with you,  first one needs to create.  Those two things just haven't happened lately in the correct order.

So I needed to get started on some Easter Gifts.  Everyone needs an Easter Basket, right?  Well I saw these over at Simply Simple Stamping with Connie Stewart.  I did a little Valentine box with the Simply Sent Everyday Elegance a while back and these are now retired.  Using the same simple steps in making the Valentine Box you can make this Cute Easter Box and Easter Basket!!

Here's the Group Picture:

This is my take on these cute Easter Baskets or Boxes.   With the Simply Sent Happy Hello set you can either make 8 Cards and have Envelopes to match.  But you could also make 16 Easter Baskets or Easter Boxes.  So cute !!!

Here's a close up for you.  So simple really!  After making the Box using the Happy Hello card, then I just added a bow, the greeting and punched out the cute Bunny.  The Bunny is made by using the following punches:  Small Oval Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch and the Blossom Builder Punch makes the ears by punching two of the small leaf.  I added a Basic Jewel Pearl for the Tail.

Here's a close up of the Envelope Basket:

Yes, this is my take on the Easter Basket that is made from the Envelope in the Simply Sent Happy Hello kit.  Remember the Bag a lopes?  Well that's what this is.  Then I added a Daffadil Delight handle using a 3/4" piece of Cardstock about 8" long, attached with 2 Daffadil Delight brads.  Added the braid using Whisper White cardstock ran through the Big Shot with the Tasteful Trim Bigz die.  Using the "Ears to You" Single Stamp I colored it with the following Markers: Wisteria Wonder, Marina Mist, and the Primrose Petals.  I stamped that on Whisper White and ran this through the Big Shot using the Labels Collection Framelit.  Added a Basic Jewel Pearl for the Tail of the middle rabbit.
All that's left is to fill them with Easter Chocolate Treats.

Connie has a video with all the directions on how to make these 2 Cute Easter Gifts.  You can see the video by clicking ( Here ).

Thanks to Connie for refreshing my memory on how to make these cute Gifts!!!
