Bright Blossoms

I hope that everyone is enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend!!  I'm trying to get caught up on some things this weekend.   Thought I better get a post done, since I can't seem to do that faithfully these past couple of months.

I have a couple of the Bright Blossoms cards to share with you today.  These were our Make & Takes from our DIVA monthly meeting in April which I didn't get posted.

Here's the first one:

I really like how easy it is to use the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate with the Simply Scored Tool.  That's how we made the background for this cute card !!  You could make this card for any occasion. I'm pretty sure that Susan said the original creator of this card was Dawn Olchefske.

Recipe:
Cardstock:  Rich Razzleberry  4 x 5 1/4",  1 3/8" x 3 3/4"
                   Whisper White     5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @  5 1/4"
                                                 3 3/4" x 5"
                                                  1 1/8" x 3 1/2 "

Here's the next Bright Blossoms card:

This card would Brighten up anyone's day, don't you think?  We used the Stripes Embossing Folder for the background on the bottom half of the card.  The strip of Tempting Turquoise Paper is used in the middle.

Wide Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Brights Buttons, White Baker's Twine.  Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive Markers.

Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise

The Bright Blossoms stamp set was the Promotion set in April and will also be in the New Annual Catalog. Only 4 more days!

Dont' Miss Out on getting your favorites from the Retiring Stamp sets before they are gone!!
You only have 4 more days !!  Check out my right hand side bar to go shopping !!

Thanks to Susan Campfield and Dawn Olchefske for our card ideas !!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Memorial Day !!

Happy Stamping !!
