Happy Mail and Floral Phrases !!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Today I received some Happy Mail from Stampin' Up !  On May 3rd, I celebrated my 10 Year Anniversary with Stampin' Up!!  It's hard to believe that it has been 10 Years.  Time has flown by so quickly, especially when you LOVE what you Do!!  And I have made so many friendships in those 10 years.  It warms my Heart!!  Thank You Stampin' Up for changing my life in such a positive way!!

Now on to the Floral Phrases card for today.

Last night was the first evening session of our Stamp A Stack for June!  There are 4 Card Designs and everyone make 3 of each Card Design for a total of 12 cards.  The cards are created by Susan Campfield and Brenda Cardinal.  I will be sharing the other cards, but today I will share the Floral Phrases card that we made.

Here's the front of the card:

The Floral Boutique Suite is one of my Favorite Suites in the New Catalog!!
I Love how Elegant the Night of Navy and Whisper White makes this card just pop.  I absolutely LOVE the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper it is so Beautiful!  One of the Concept Artists at Stampin' Up actually creates all the patterns in this Designer Series Paper by hand painting them first which makes this DSP so Totally Amazing !!


Here is the inside of the card:

                              I love that there is a Border stamp in the Floral Phrases set.
                              It's really nice to use on the inside of the card as an accent.

Cardstock:
                        Whisper White  5 1/2" x 8 1/2"      Scored at 4 1/4"
                  (2)  Whisper White    4" x 5 1/4"
                         Whisper White   1 3/4" x 3 1/4"
                         Night of Navy    2" x 3 1/2"

Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper   (3) Different Patterns    1" x 4 3/4"

Then using the Triple Banner Punch you can punch all (3) strips of the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper at the same time on the one end.
(Only because it is DSP, can you punch all 3 pieces at the same time, cardstock is too thick to do that)

Pretty simple, but so Elegant!!

Moroccan Nights

Good Morning !!

Today, I have another card from our last Monthly meeting.  It uses the "Moroccan Nights" stamp set.
The Moroccan Nights Suite has some fun Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape, Baker's Twine, and 2 New Ribbons ( 3/8" Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon and 5/8" Delightful Dijon Mini Striped Ribbon).

Here's the card:

Makes a wonderful Background for any Occasion!  This one is a Birthday card with the New Layering Square Framelits, the ones with the rippled edge and looks like a postage stamp.
                                            Love all the New Layering Framelits!!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the inside, it had the border stamp from this set along the edge of the card.  It makes such a beautiful accent.  A Simple, but very Elegant card, don't you think?
                          So take a minute and stamp a Birthday card for someone today!

Graduation Card and Paper Pumpkin

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend !!  Graduation time is upon us!

I needed to make a Graduation card for a friend's son who just graduated!!  I have seen several Graduation cards but I wanted to try a shaker card.  So here is my take using the "Number of Years Framelits".

The Designer Series Paper is Retired and was from Sale-A-Bration 2016.  It was the Perfect Color, as the School colors were a Powder Blue, Silver and White.  I was happy with how this turned out.

Cardstock:     Thick Whisper White   5 1/2" x 8 1/2"  scored at 4 1/4"
                       Brushed Silver (retired)   3 3/4" x 5"    Plus a scrap for the Graduation Cap
DSP               Perfectly Artistic (retired)  3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

My New Annual Catalog Shoebox Swap Card

When a New Catalog comes out, it's so exciting!!  This year my Upline, Susan Campfield chose to have a Shoebox Swap for us to participate in.  A Shoebox Swap is where you create a sample card, then you place all the supplies to make that card in a Shoebox for everyone else to make.  It's a lot of fun and gives us a chance to make so many different cards to use for displays for our customers.  Plus getting to use so many New Products is always exciting.  So today, I wanted to share with you my CASE of Julie Davison's card for this fun event.

When I saw this card on Julie Davison's blog, I knew that I wanted to give it a try.  I love how Julie used the Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape for the background of this card.  It just makes the tag and the sentiment pop for me !!  Thank you Julie for the inspiration!

New In-Colors Card

Hello, 

Today I have a card which I cased from Mary Fish's blog a while back.  I changed up my version to show off the New In-Colors for 2016 - 2018.  Always fun to create a card for the customers to actually see the New In-Colors in person!  Thank you Mary Fish for your inspiration on this card!

Simple but elegant, I love how the In-Colors pop on the black background!  I started with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  Then added a piece of Basic Black cardstock to the front with a strip of Whisper White for the greeting.  A small piece of Flirty Flamingo as an accent at the bottom.  Butterflies were then added with Basic Pearls as accents.

Love and Affection Card

Good Morning!

So many New Fun Products to share, it's hard to decide which one to play with first!

Today, I have a card to share that we made at our Monthly Meeting.  It uses the New "Affectionately Yours" Specialty Designer Series Paper and the New "Love and Affection" stamp set. So beautiful, and the Designer Series Paper has copper foil accents too!!  Copper is another Trend that we are seeing this year.  The card also uses one of the New "Floral Affection" Embossing Folders, it's on the bottom right hand side of the card.  It's a wonderful WOW, for any card!
